Magic Mineral Bone Broth to boost immunity
A nutrient dense pot of veggies, chicken or beef bones, simmered for 12 - 24 hours to produce a collagen rich broth, then skimmed, strained and decanted in one quart canisters. Heat one cup on low (please don't re-boil), drink as you would a cup of tea! Enjoy! (I drink one cup each morning). I prepare 20 different types of soups/broths/chowders - all so very healthy, and comforting (no salt/low salt varieties too).

New home, new puppy, newly discovered snack
Scott (my wonderful husband) and I have moved into our new home @ Desert Princess Country Club in the Palm Springs Area. We also acquired a new puppy, named Cooper, who is now a part of our little family (along with our dainty silver tabby named "Layla".). We are living happily ever after even though we know the summertime temps climb to triple digits here in the Coachella Valley. We like it hot. We installed a beautiful hot tub too, on our deck. We love the fact that we can see stars at night! And, most important, we love to grill.
Last week while I was in the LA area, I happened to dine on "grilled shishito peppers". I had never before had them, and I fell in love with the hot, salty taste. So, I decided to make them at home today. I actually found fresh shishito peppers in my local market. I grilled them (approx 4 minutes) so they blistered, placed them on a plate, drizzled a small amount of good EVOO, then sprinkled Braggs Nutritional Yeast and coarse salt on them and gave them a toss. Wow, what a great snack.

Live Longer 🍎 Eat Better
Live longer......eat mostly plants
What I eat has sustained my great health through the years. Here's my short list:
Vegetables, particularly, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, asparagus
Greens: rainbow chard, spinach, kale, mustard greens, other dark leafy greens
good fats (avocado, nuts, seeds, extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil)
"Fit For Life" salad dressing (i.e.: lemon juice, olive oil, a touch of freshly pressed garlic)
Wild caught salmon and petrale sole
Sweet potatoes
Shiitake mushrooms
Highest quality whole fresh local eggs
If/when I rarely eat meat I make it highest quality, lean grass-fed
blueberries, raspberries, red apples
